Borghild Project
Borghild project was the code name of the alleged secret German program from World War II whose task was to design and construct a rubber doll for soldiers. The top secret program was to be launched in 1941 at the request of Heinrich Himmler. Rubber dolls were to help reduce the number of venereal diseases spreading among German soldiers. The name of the project comes from the name of Borghild , the first wife of one of the heroes of Norse mythology.
