Recruiting non-Germans in the Waffen-SS
My Patron – So long, John – is concerned that some people online are claiming that the Nazis were “just racially conscious” rather than full-on racist. These people argue that the Waffen-SS recruited non-Germans, which supposedly “proves” how “diverse” and “inclusive” the German Army was in WW2. Clearly, that view is total rubbish, as this video will make clear. And, in the process of answering this question, we’ll discover just how INSANE Heinrich Himmler and Nazi ideology really were.
And it should be fairly obvious, but just to make sure everyone’s fully aware – I am NOT a Fascist, NOT a National Socialist, and NOT a Marxist Socialist. And I am NOT promoting said ideologies. This video is discussing events or concepts that are academic, educational and historical in nature.
